AI Coach – Privacy Policy

AI Coach is an experimental mobile app that helps you set and achieve SMART goals with an AI‑powered coach. Because we’re still in an early, pre‑company phase, this document explains—plainly and transparently—what data we collect, why we need it, and how you stay in control.

1. Who We Are

AI Coach is currently developed and maintained by an independent product team (“we”, “us”). We are not yet incorporated as a legal entity, but the same privacy commitments apply. If you have questions or requests, email sourcodesolutions@gmail.com.

Note: Login credentials are managed by Firebase Authentication and never stored in our app database.

3. How We Use Your Data

Personalise coaching (if enabled)

Track goal progress and send reminders
Improve the app through feedback
Authenticate user access securely
Monitor API usage and costs anonymously

We never sell or rent your data to anyone.

4. Where & How Long We Store Data

5. Your Controls

View & edit your goals, tasks, persona
Delete all your data via the in-app settings
Delete your account (Firebase Auth)
Export your data (CSV or JSON)

Manage notification preferences

6. Security

All communication is encrypted with TLS 1.2+
Firestore data is encrypted at rest
Local storage uses Secure Keychain (iOS) or EncryptedSharedPrefs (Android)
Access control enforced via Firestore security rules
OpenAI only receives anonymised input—no names or emails

7. Third‑Party Services

8. International Transfers

Data may be processed on Google Cloud servers outside your country. We rely on standard contractual clauses to protect this data.

9. Children

This app is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that a child has used the app, we will promptly delete their data. Please contact us immediately if needed.

10. Changes

We will notify users of major changes in the app or via email. Continued use implies acceptance of updated policies.
